First off, fantastic product. 5/5
Secondly, customer service is lacking as others have stated. I am unsure how commerce is run in comparison to their in-person sales, but the first time I ordered online (out-of-state), there was a 2 week delay. This time it was almost a month but it seems it was due to the fact that they decided they wanted to charge me shipping after I already paid and submitted my order which clearly stated free economy shipping. It doesn't sit right with me that after one week from the order, I was sent an additional invoice to cover shipping. I emailed them multiple times before they finally responded to my inquiry (3 weeks later). It was because I "forgot" to pay shipping so they withheld the order. How can one "forget" to pay shipping when it's been paid for via online and the invoice evidently showing free economy shipping is unheard of. That practice itself was enough for me to ask for a cancellation and refund which they didn't honor as well. So my product was held hostage as well as my funds. I had to dispute the charge as I obviously never received the product. I'm not in the business of chasing down a business to do a job that they're supposed to do.
So, I would hope that they invest more time into their customer service to better align with the level of their product. Best wishes to others that are reading all these reviews that we took the time to write. Maybe you'll get the product, maybe you won't.
I first tasted this pistachio cream this spring when the shop came and had a pop up insie Powells books. I bought 2 jars-one for me and one for a friend! The 2 weeks ago I ordered another jar for a friend in Wisconsin. Unfortunately, in the shipping the oil and the cream separated so when it arrived some of the oil had escaped and soaked the outside of the jar. Kinda messy! But my friend LOVED the Pistachio cream!
When I received my order, the jar had exploded during shipment and the pistachio cream was everywhere. I have emailed your info email two times asking for a new jar to be shipped and I have not heard anything back. I really really love your product and would give it a five stars, but I can’t seem to get help to get a replacement. Can someone please get back to me? thank you!
My review is strictly for the customer service. I've had the product before and I think it's wonderful. I ordered 3 jars of the pistachio cream on May 2nd. It was shipped on the 6th. On May 7th, the tracking said it was being returned due to damages. According to the tracking, Chio received it on May 15th. I've sent 2 emails and used the contact form on the website asking for help and information. No one has responded to me at all. I love to support smaller local companies. I feel I've given plenty of time for them to make this situation right.
